Inspired by Trey Anastasio’s early ’90s rig, the Divided Drive captures the magic of stacking two Tube Screamers. 

With one set for low-gain warmth, the other cranked for "full scream” and flowing into a Ross Compressor, you get a tight, thick tone with endless sustain.

The Divided Drive recreates this setup with two modified Screamer-style overdrives feeding a Ross-style compressor, all in one pedal.

The overdrive circuits are based on the discontinued Serenity Overdrive, a stripped-down Tube Screamer variant focused on only the essential gain and tone sections, with key modifications for a fuller, warmer voice and remarkable clarity.

The compressor section is modeled after the classic 1970s Ross Compressor, and I was able to source the original, long-discontinued op-amp used in those early units.

Each section can be used on its own or cascaded into each other for a huge range of tones, from subtle grit to soaring sustain.
