Stomp Under Foot pedals are designed to run ONLY on:

• 9V battery
• Standard 9V DC, center-negative, regulated adapter

Using any other power source (12V, 18V, AC, reversed polarity, or multi-voltage adapters) will immediately void the warranty.

Here are some examples of power supplies I have personally used with Stomp Under Foot pedals: Truetone One Spot, Strymon, Cioks, and Voodoo Lab Pedal Power.

If you are using a multi-output or selectable-voltage supply, make sure it is set to 9 VOLTS.

Stomp Under Foot pedals include a Limited Lifetime Warranty with original proof of purchase from Stomp Under Foot or any authorized dealer.

The warranty covers any electronic component failures.

The warranty does NOT cover:

• Use of an incorrect power adapter
• Tampering or attempted repair
• Any modification or alteration
• Wear items such as switches, jacks, pots, and knobs (unless faulty when new)

If any of the above applies, please refer to the Repairs section below.

For out-of-warranty pedals and general service work, the rates are:

• $75 bench fee (covers the first hour of diagnostic and repair time)
• $60 per additional hour, plus the cost of any parts and return shipping

Most repairs are completed within the first hour.

Incorrect Power Supply Damage

Most pedals include a protection diode, and if the wrong adapter is used, the diode will usually trip and disable the pedal.
This repair is typically quick, but any level of damage caused by an incorrect power supply is not covered under warranty.

Repairs for incorrect adapter damage are billed at the standard rates:

• $75 bench fee (covers up to the first hour)
• $60 per additional hour, plus any required parts and return shipping

In some cases, incorrect power can damage multiple components or require significant repair work, including partial or full board rebuilds.

If a pedal is inspected and no issue is found, the bench fee still applies for time spent testing and diagnosing.

International customers are responsible for all repair fees and return shipping costs.

Many pedals sent in for repair are fully functional.
Most issues are caused by bad cables or pedal-chain problems.

Before sending a pedal in, please check the following:

• Test the pedal by itself (guitar → pedal → amp)
• Switch between a 9V battery and a 9V DC adapter
• Try different instrument and patch cables
• If the pedal is noisy, confirm your power supply is isolated
• Ensure all cables and plugs are fully seated
   

If the pedal has no power, confirm that an incorrect adapter was not used.
The protection diode may prevent major damage, but it will disable the pedal.
This situation is not covered under warranty and will require a paid repair.

If sending a pedal in for service, please include:

• Reason for the repair
• Return address
• Email address
• Proof of purchase
• Tracking number

Stomp Under Foot is not responsible for packages that are stolen after delivery.
If you need the package handed directly to you, please request signature required delivery before purchasing. Additional fees may apply.

For international orders, some countries charge duties, taxes, or tariffs on incoming shipments.
These fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not collected, covered, or reimbursed by Stomp Under Foot.

There are no refunds on pedals.

A one-time exchange of equal value is available within two weeks of the original purchase.
The returned pedal must be in new, unaltered condition.
Pedals that are damaged or modified in any way cannot be accepted.

Please contact me before sending a pedal back for exchange.
