I've been obsessed with guitars, amplifiers, pedals, and music ever since I started playing guitar at 13 years old. Whether I'm listening to records, discovering new bands, comparing guitar tones, or talking gear, music has always been a huge part of my life.

Players like Eddie Van Halen and Bob Mould had a tremendous influence on me, even though they come from completely different musical worlds. My tastes have always been broad, ranging from classic rock and underground punk to '90s alternative and everything in between. Those influences continue to shape the way I hear guitar and think about tone.

My fascination with vintage pedals, especially the Big Muff, eventually led me to collecting, researching, and studying the many versions of these classic circuits. Long before Stomp Under Foot officially launched, I was building and selling pedals while refining my techniques and learning what made the best vintage pedals so inspiring.

In 2008, that passion became Stomp Under Foot with the completion of the first official Stomp Under Foot pedal, the Screaming Panda. Since then, my goal has remained the same. Build pedals that capture the character, feel, and inspiration of the originals while delivering the reliability and consistency musicians expect from a modern pedal.

Every Stomp Under Foot pedal is designed, assembled, tested, and inspected by hand in the USA. Some are faithful recreations of vintage classics like the Ram's Head, Civil War, and Green Russian. Others, like the Dire Wolf, are original designs created through years of research, experimentation, and careful listening. No matter the design, every pedal receives the same attention to detail.
