All the tones of the original are in there, but with a few changes and the added mids control, you can get a lot more out of it. Set the mids around 9 o’clock and you are right in that signature Civil War tone. From there, use the mids and tone together to move through the range of Russian fuzz sounds.

It goes from smooth and scooped to more forward and cutting, while still holding onto what made the original so good.
