JUMBO DIRTY ROOSTER

Years ago, I created a modified version of the Colorsound Jumbo Tone Bender called the Dirty Rooster. I’ve decided to revisit the design, adding a mids control along with a few subtle circuit tweaks, and release it as a Vintage Mini version.

The Jumbo Dirty Rooster retains the feel and character of the original early 1970s fuzz, with its gritty, gnarly tone. Its overall sound is full, with a bassy but never muddy low end that sounds monstrous on chords. Lead tones are thick, creamy, and sustaining. Think Edwin Collins "A Girl Like You" fuzz.

The Tone and Mids controls work interactively, giving you precise control over the midrange and overall voice, making it easy to fine tune the pedal for your rig and playing style.
