Inspired by the rare 1978 “Bud Box” Rat, the Skinner Box has a gain range that goes from fat distortion to a chewy, low-gain overdrive, with a slightly fuller response from the metal can LM308 for a smoother feel.

Known mainly as a distortion, it also works great as an overdrive.

With the gain set between 11 and 12 o’clock, it delivers a clear, balanced overdriven tone that responds to your picking and cleans up with your guitar’s volume. The low end stays tight, chords stay defined, and single notes cut without getting harsh.
